Today in Interior Design, Our assignment was to research three blogs involving interior design. An Interior Designer would most likely need to have a blog so that they can show other people what their intentions of design are.
One of the blogs I looked at was http://decor8blog.com/ which is a good website if you are looking for an interior design blog. Holly Becker is the founder and editor of Decor8, and she is also a best-selling author and journalist.
Another blog I have visited is http://blog.designpublic.com/ . I like this blog because she has put in items that would be great for designing. But she also puts some of those items into a room to show what they would look like in a house. I like this idea because it show the item along with the potential for the item.

The last blog that I looked at was http://www.sfgirlbybay.com/ . I like this site because It shows many angles of the same room and some close ups of the items, but the reason that I like it is that there is not just one angle to always look at the rooms. The blog just gives a lot of option for ideas. The style is more of a modern city chic look, which is what interests me the most.

I think my favorite out of the three is Decor8 because I love the style that she portrays. I saw a few trends along the way too. I saw a modern but messy, a chic but old fashioned, so in all, I think the trend is to mix different styles together to get an all around perfect style.
